Welcome to Box Springs!

The Box Springs amateur radio repeater is located 65 miles east of Los Angeles, on Box Springs Mountain in Riverside, California.  With an elevation of approximately 3000 feet above sea level, the KQ6ZZ repeater offers excellent coverage for the Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside counties, as well as portions of northern San Diego county.

This repeater is considered a closed repeater.  For those new to amateur radio, this means the repeater's usage is limited to members of the repeater group.  We do allow visitors as well as guests to use the repeater, on a limited basis.

The Box Springs Junior High School Gazette

Just like in junior high school, the hobby of amateur radio has individuals who like to play silly games, gossip and start problems.  We actually enjoy this, and find it to be not much of a challenge to outwit these dumb asses. We usually do this with ease!

Join us in some online gaming fun as we play HALF-LIFE2: Deathmatch!
